I love documenting and telling stories!
I've always been fascinated with photojournalism so I'm very excited to finish my college career embracing one of my favorite styles of photography.
My favorite photographs are natural, everyday interactions. Those sweet candid moments make simple actions like cooking in the kitchen look so magical.
I love Kaka's (my grandmother) snowy white hair and I hope that one day I will have hair as awesome as hers!
I'm so blessed to have her in my life! She is such a talented artist! Her love for art and teaching is probably why our family is full of creatives! She taught us art at such a young age too! Drawing, painting, sculpting, and little crafts, she taught it all!
My car broke down today so I missed the chance to go assist a wedding photographer in Charleston. I was disappointed and upset that I could not make it, but glad that I got to spend some extra time with my Mom.
Her love for photography is coming back and I'm glad I got to help her relearn her camera today! It's been years since she did photography and I can't wait to see more of her work!
Lifestyle and documentary photography and are special to me. They capture the real people. They are not posed, forced, or created. They are natural, real, and free.
Placing a camera in front of me and saying smile will make for the worst photograph, but put me in a room and tell me to talk to my family while you document our laughter... now that's a great shot.
